Operation change manager
BayOne Solutions is seeking a Change & Operations Generalist to drive operational execution and change management for the Single Identity initiative within the Security Services Engineering team. This role involves coordinating the migration of users to pre-provisioned identity accounts while ensuring effective communication and minimal disruption to workflows.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan tailored to distinct user groups (e.g., Contractor Managers, Subsidiary Users, Exceptional Account Holders)
Draft and distribute targeted emails, Slack announcements, FAQs, and runbooks to prepare users for migration
Partner with internal communications and local support teams (e.g., AnimTech, EyeTech) to ensure consistent messaging across the organization
Coordinate and schedule cohort-based migration “Moving Days,” ensuring all technical prerequisites are met in advance
Track the migration status of 5,000+ users, maintaining accurate reporting on completed, pending, and exception cases
Oversee white-glove support during migration periods and act as the primary escalation point for user issues
Collaborate with Engineering to ensure Google and Slack rename-in-place actions are executed with minimal downtime
Conduct discovery sessions with Exceptional Account Holders to understand tooling needs and blockers
Maintain and track a centralized list of applications requiring access updates, partnering with Engineering on resolution
Collect and analyze data on “snowflake” use cases (e.g., assistants, researchers) to inform future identity policies and exception workflows
Create and maintain training materials for support teams (Employee Services, NTech) to ensure readiness for identity-related inquiries
Monitor post-migration support tickets and escalations to identify trends and recommend process improvements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience leading the 'people side' of technical change
Strong ability to craft clear, empathetic user-facing communications and facilitate information sessions
Excellent organizational and coordination skills to track thousands of users, manage timelines, and work across multiple teams and time zones
Working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Groups) and Slack administration concepts (e.g., multi-workspace channels, guest accounts)
Comfort explaining technical changes to non-technical users
Ability to identify gaps in support workflows and resolve user issues with precision and empathy
Experience delivering 'white-glove' support during high-impact transitions
