Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day showroom operations to ensure a clean, organized, and professional environment
Manage showroom schedules, opening/closing procedures, and inventory coordination
Ensure product displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards
Coordinate showroom setup and breakdown for High Point Market and special events
Welcome and assist buyers, designers, and clients visiting the showroom
Support the sales team by providing product information, samples, and order coordination
Build strong relationships with customers to enhance brand presence and repeat business
Follow up with clients as needed to support sales efforts
Hire, train, and supervise showroom staff and temporary market support team members
Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during busy periods
Motivate and coach team members to deliver excellent service
Track product samples, displays, and showroom materials
Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for product deliveries and returns
Ensure accurate record-keeping of showroom inventory and materials
Maintain visitor logs, client contacts, and sales support documentation
Prepare basic reports on showroom traffic, customer feedback, and market performance
Assist with expense tracking and budgeting for showroom operations
Qualification
Required
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during market events
Ability to lift and move showroom materials as needed (within reasonable limits)
Preferred
Experience in furniture, interior design, home décor, or commercial furnishing
Familiarity with High Point Market operations and buyer expectations
Background in sales coordination or account support
