Responsibilities

Assist in the new account opening process of deposit services. Work with client directly to obtain all appropriate documentation to fulfill all bank requirement
Work with client and BSA/Compliance approval as needed to clear prospect to open commercial accounts at EWB including performing due diligence check and collecting and reviewing all required documents
Act as a point of contact for clients to address questions, concerns and provide services as needed for deposit related matters and loan clients for matters relating to other banking services, as well as acting as a liaison between Clients and Global Treasury and Payment team
Coordinate with internal departments to provide commercial accounts maintenance on a daily basis. Daily operational tasks include but not limited to: fund transfers, auto-payment account set-up, stop payments, request cashier checks, recognize and resolve account overdrafts, non-post items, address stop payment requests, handle return items/NSF, manual out-going wires, exception wires, new account onboarding, fee waive/fee exception/fee refund, treasury product troubleshooting, etc
Taking ownership of client needs, problems, and requests, following through to ensure timely and accurate resolution
Perform other administrative duties required for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients
May perform other duties and special projects as needed

Required

1+ year experience in banking or financial services company servicing in a customer service role
Strong Customer Service contact handling skills
Ability to work within set timelines while maintaining quality and attention to detail
Demonstrates effective problem solving and analytical skills with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
