Responsibilities

Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities for the organization
Maintain and develop banking relationships with syndication of approximately 25 banks
Ensure compliance with and optimize the Company’s various credit facilities
Advise other members of the Executive Management team on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions
Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations in order to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed
Delegate authority for receipt, disbursement, banking, protection and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments
Serve as a member of the Senior Management Leadership Team and be a key contributor in setting the strategy for developing and building the Company’s portfolio
Excellent and proactive communication skills combined with a personable demeanor and collegial approach to business

Maintain a strong collaborative relationship with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels including the Executive team, Federal and State regulators, industry partners, owner representatives and public officials

Foster a positive open work environment, systems approaches and disciplined execution of all assigned tasks
Direct and manage the Company’s Treasury activities
Develop appropriate strategies to minimize risk, execute hedges, monitor results, and adjust processes to achieve continuous improvement
Evaluate, negotiate, and market debt financings to fund the Company’s growth and provide for adequate ongoing liquidity
Perform financial analysis and modeling
Evaluate the Company’s capital structure and use of free cashflow; prepare recommendations for Executive Management’s approval and implement approved actions
Evaluate, implement, and maintain capital structures for the Company that meet business, tax and regulatory objectives and requirements
Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as cash, credit management, liquidity and leverage
Develop or revise policies and procedures related to functional responsibilities
Demonstrate and enforce the highest professional integrity, ethics, and safety discipline
Demonstrate and reinforce a culture of regulatory compliance
Assist in the development of long-term and short-term investor relations strategies
Develop, communicate, and implement investor relations plan, including metrics and key deliverables
Monitor content on investor website, ensuring it is current, consistent, and competitive
Analyze internal and external data, producing periodic reports and forecasts
Work with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism
Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully
Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance
Will work non-traditional hours as needed
Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of Company assets and employees, and the general public
Other daily, weekly, monthly, or special project duties as identified and defined

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
Fifteen (15) or more years of progressive experience with a proven record of accomplishment in the area of Finance within the Oil & Gas Industry
Demonstrated superior leadership outcomes in the areas of leading self, leading others, and leading an organization
Proven ability to drive positive change with continuous improvement
Demonstrated success in managing large departmental budgets
Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers (for travel)
Capital markets and financial risk management experience
Ability to work independently and with little supervision
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt to varied and changing responsibilities in a fast-paced, changing environment
Proven ability to identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities
Must be able to perform all essential and marginal functions of the job
Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines
Ability to organize and prioritize daily work
Job level commensurate with experience and skill sets; position will be filled depending on qualifications, experience and skill sets of the successful candidate

Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
