Human Resources Analyst
The Judicial Council of California is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to join their Integrated Disability Management team. The HR Analyst will support leave eligibility assessments, develop accommodation plans, and assist with analytical projects to enhance HR services for judicial branch employees.

Responsibilities
Serve as the initial point of contact for inquiries regarding disability leave policies, directing complex cases to Senior HR Analysts
Interpret complex medical documentation to determine leave eligibility and workplace accommodation needs; draft non-standard correspondence regarding leaves of absence and disability accommodations
Implement complex reasonable accommodations by coordinating with stakeholders to make environmental modifications and/or hybrid work adjustments mandated through the interactive process
Liaise with external stakeholders to schedule assessments and verify the successful deployment of accommodation resources
Prepare and complete Non-Industrial Disability Insurance (NDI) documentation for eligible employees and interface with the Employment Development Department (EDD) as needed
Compile data from systems to generate and provide monthly IDM reporting metrics to management for trend analysis
Audit and organize all IDM documents, standard forms, and letter templates to ensure version control and immediate availability for the team
Assist the Workers' Compensation unit by handling initial intake inquiries or analytical tasks during peak periods (generally January through June)
Assist in the creation and updating of user-friendly “How-To” guides and FAQ documents for employees navigating the leave process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional human resources experience. An additional four (4) years of professional human resources experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree. Or, additional directly related experience and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
OR Juris doctor with a focus on employment law or master's degree in human resources, organizational development
OR Two (2) years as an Associate Human Resources Analyst with the Judicial Council of California or two (2) years of experience performing the duties of a class comparable in the level of responsibility to that of an Associate Human Resources Analyst in a California superior court or California state-level government entity
Preferred
Knowledge of federal and state disability laws, including FMLA, ADA, and CFRA
Experience analyzing HR data and generating reports from human resources information systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and metrics
Experience maintaining SharePoint sites and document control
