Responsibilities
Test websites, custom applications, and internal systems to ensure functionality and reliability
Create, maintain, and execute test cases based on requirements and business workflows
Contribute to test plans, testing approaches, and coverage strategies for systems and applications
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing as part of regular release cycles
Document test execution results, including pass/fail status and observations
Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
Re-test fixes and validate changes prior to release
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to clarify expected behavior
Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity across systems
Proficient in using MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and test result analysis
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
Experience testing web-based applications and websites
Strong ability to write and execute test cases and document results
Familiarity with defect tracking and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira or similar)
Ability to manage testing across multiple systems and projects
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred
Exposure to test automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.)
Understanding of QA best practices and testing methodologies
Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments
Interest in expanding testing capabilities over time
