They are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant II to provide administrative and academic support to multiple departments within the Dornsife Academic Service Hub for the Humanities.

Responsibilities

Perform varied administrative and general office duties for academic departments
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and departmental events
Prepare and maintain correspondence, reports, and records
Screen and prioritize incoming calls
Initiate and process budget and business transactions in accordance with USC policies and procedures (e.g., supplier invoices, internal service deliveries, honoraria, reimbursements, and procurement requests)
Provide information, guidance, and assistance to faculty, staff, students, and visitors
Assist with office operations, including document management and compliance with university procedures
Track and monitor assigned budget expenditures
Order office supplies for departmental offices and the academic service hub
Assist with maintaining office equipment and coordinating related purchases
Ensure confidentiality and control access to sensitive information
Manage student workers

Required

Bachelor's degree
3 years of secretarial or specialized clerical and administrative experience
Perform varied administrative and general office duties for academic departments
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and departmental events

Preferred

Experience in a higher education or academic setting
Familiarity with USC administrative systems and procedures
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Proficiency with standard office software and systems
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bachelor's degree
4 years of experience
