Responsibilities

Responsible for managing and overseeing the design and construction of municipal or private Utility projects that may include water, wastewater, or storm sewer design
Conduct and manage design and plan production
Manage clients and supervise technical staff
Provide training/mentorship of other engineers
Assist in the marketing and proposal process to acquire new projects/clients

Qualification

Florida PE LicenseMunicipal design experienceWater/Wastewater designProject ManagementCivil Engineering degreeClient managementMentorshipTeam playerPositive attitude

Required

Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Florida, or ability to acquire one within 6 months of hire date
At least 4 to 6 years of experience (minimum 1 year of Project Management experience)
Experience in Florida
Strong technical knowledge in municipal and Utilities or Water/Wastewater design
Ability to manage projects and mentor staff
Experience managing design and plan production
Ability to manage clients and supervise technical staff
A positive attitude, be self-directed yet a team player, and have a focus on quality, integrity and success
