The CDA Lending and Risk Analyst I will play a critical role in financing the production of affordable, single-family homes by processing, underwriting, and closing project loans.

Responsibilities

Play a critical role in several related programs that finance the production of affordable, single-family homes in historically disinvested neighborhoods by processing, underwriting, and closing project loans
Contribute to the continuing development of the UPLIFT program and related initiatives

Required

Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate
Six years of experience evaluating the risk involved in granting single family, multifamily and commercial loans, government assistance programs, and/or construction management
Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Architecture, Construction Management, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Architecture or any other related field and two years of experience evaluating the risk involved in granting single family, multifamily and commercial loans, government assistance programs, and/or construction management for the required experience
Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in loan specialist classification, loan specialist specialty codes in the loan specialist field of work, or as a commissioned officer in business and industry classification or business and industry specialty codes in the housing management field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience
Successful candidates must document eligibility to work in the U.S. upon hire

Preferred

Experience underwriting in single family affordable housing production programs
Experience with construction related Project management
Experience preparing reports and related documentation in accordance with housing guidelines
