Intern - Legal
Construction Specialties, Inc. is a specialty building products manufacturer that has been a global leader since 1948. They are seeking a Legal Intern who will review and organize corporate documents, assist in managing document retention, and participate in various legal matters to gain experience in in-house counsel functions.
Building Material
Responsibilities
Review agreements, minutes, tax records, and similar documents for all CS entities
Collaborate with Legal and other groups to organize and file documents
Assist in document destruction once retention period expires
Assist in contract review
Participate in various legal issues, such as litigation, compliance, etc., as they arise
Qualification
Required
Rising junior or senior in a Bachelor's Degree program, with an interest in attending law school; or first or second year law school student with an interest in in-house counsel activities
High school graduate/GED required
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills - written and verbal
Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task and prioritize work
Strong computer literacy, experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Hybrid (3 days office, 2 WFH)

Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation
