Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and supplier diversity
Oversee complex procurement projects from initiation to completion, focusing heavily on driving continuity of supply and delivery, ensuring project goals are met within scope, budget, and timeline
Manage supplier communication and understand market trends
Deal with invoice discrepancies and ensure compliance with strategic procurement
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
Bachelor's degree (Business, Supply Chain, or applicable technical degree preferred) and 3 years of buyer/procurement experience
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale procurement operations
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Proficient in procurement software and tools
In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies and supplier relationship management
Preferred
Knowledge of purchasing systems (SAP experience a strong plus)
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to drive change and lead cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
