Responsibilities
Coordinator and track lab draw requests across the assigned region in alignment with provider orders
Ensure accurate documentation of lab orders, collections, and results within the EHR system
Confirm timely delivery of lab specimens and escalate delays as needed
Maintain weekly reporting on lab draw volumes, turnaround times, and common barriers
Notify providers and care teams of pending lab results or required follow-ups
Serve as a liaison between providers and laboratory team to troubleshoot issues
Monitor provider cases related to labs and support closed-loop follow-up processes
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
2+ years of healthcare experience, preferably in a clinical or laboratory setting
Ability to read and communicate effectively
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to manage and demonstrate effective leadership skills
Should demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills under all conditions
Preferred
Certification in phlebotomy preferred
Physician services and management skills a plus
