Executive Director
myHR Partner, Inc. is partnering with Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley (CVC) to find an Executive Director who is passionate about advocacy and community support. The Executive Director will lead the organization strategically, ensuring compliance, fostering partnerships, and overseeing financial health to empower and support victims of crime in the Lehigh Valley.

Responsibilities
Provide overall direction and oversight of CVC policies, operations, and programs
Ensure compliance with all legal, contractual, and ethical standards
Lead strategic planning in collaboration with the Board of Directors and leadership team to guide long-term organizational growth and impact
Monitor and evaluate programs for effectiveness, impact, and compliance with funder requirements
Cultivate a supportive, mission-aligned culture, empowering a passionate team and ensuring they have the resources and clarity they need to do their best work
Build partnerships that matter, being the public face of CVC, serving on different coalitions & committees, collaborating with community organizations, funders, government agencies, and local leaders to elevate awareness of victim services and prevention efforts
Communicating transparently with staff, the Board, stakeholders, and the community
Advocate for victims’ rights and services within systems such as criminal justice, healthcare, law enforcement, and social services
Steward financial health & compliance, overseeing budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, securing grant funding, and long-term sustainability so our services remain free, confidential, and accessible
Ensuring timely submission of grants and contracts
Researching, writing, and securing new grant funding to expand resources and services
Engaging in fundraising efforts in conjunction with the Board of Directors Development Committee
Champion innovation, identifying new opportunities to strengthen support for survivors and expand prevention education in schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods
Qualification
Required
4+ years in senior management within a nonprofit or human‑services organization
Experience in strategic planning, policy implementation, people management, and program development
Skilled in budgeting, financial oversight, and grant/contract compliance, along with grant writing
Proven ability to provide and oversee effective, compassionate services for victims of crime
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with strong relationship‑building abilities
Cultural humility, commitment to DEI, compassion for those impacted by violence
Must successfully obtain and maintain the following clearances: FBI Criminal Background Check, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, and Child Abuse History Clearance
Preferred
Completion of Sexual Assault Counselor Training preferred
