Sales Manager

The Sales Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving the operational performance of the sales team within the Partnerships department, ensuring the team is structured for success through strong process management and accountability.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Partnerships sales team to ensure goals and activity benchmarks are consistently met
Manage Salesforce reporting, pipeline tracking, and forecasting
Oversee departmental reporting to ensure data accuracy and leadership visibility
Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with sellers to review performance metrics and drive accountability
Serve as point of contact for managing and maintaining all sales collateral, ensuring accuracy and consistency across events, and timely creation of new sales materials
Optimize systems and processes to increase efficiency and enhance sales performance
Collaborate with internal A21 departments — including Partnership Fulfillment, Marketing, Accounting, and Operations — to ensure flawless execution of partner deliverables
Support contract management, invoicing accuracy, and partnership reconciliation with accounting
Identify and implement sales enablement tools, templates, and process improvements

Required

Minimum 5 years of experience including leadership experience in sales management, partnerships, or business development
Proven success managing and motivating sales teams in a fast-paced, high-activity environment
Strong understanding of CRM management, reporting, and data analysis (Salesforce experience a plus)
Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on accountability and performance management
Exceptional attention to detail

Preferred

Sales or sponsorship background preferred, particularly within events, media, or experiential marketing
