Director of Clinical Practice, Advanced Care Clinics and Dental Faculty Practice (Healthcare Program Director)
The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is looking for a Director of Clinical Practice for the Dental Faculty Practice and Advanced Care Clinics. This role involves overseeing administrative operations, managing support teams, and ensuring financial stability and operational sustainability of the clinics.

Responsibilities
Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with CUSDM financial goals and state/university fiscal policies and procedures
Direct staff to coordinate all patient care activities for faculty practice to include, but not limited to, patient callbacks, patient assignment, risk management, progress monitoring, facilities adequacy, patient access to multiple disciplines, and efficient use of personnel and other resources
Manage billing, accounts receivable, collections and patient registration activities for the practice level. Integrate with leadership in the SDM Financial Affairs group to set resource and productivity goals
Provide intellectual leadership for practice methodologies in a higher education/clinical education environment
Assist the billing department manager in the accountability and responsibility for the collection of clinic income. This responsibility includes working with the manager of the billing department to establish and implement appropriate policies and procedures for billing, insurance coordination and collections
Shall effectively assist the dental staff/residents/administrative staff in the development and training of educational programs for staff and patients
Identifies personnel needs, make recommendations, conducts interviews and initiates and coordinates personnel actions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
6-8 years of professional experience in a dental or academic dental setting, including supervisory experience and practice management
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
Preferred
Extensive experience in dental practice management
Extensive experience in an academic dental setting, to include practice or clinical program management
Experience supervising both administrative and clinical staff
