The NJ Department of Environmental Protection is responsible for managing the state's environmental resources. They are seeking an Environmental Services Intern to assist with programs that ensure compliance with federal and state Safe Drinking Water Act rules, providing technical assistance and training to water systems.

Assist with programs that provide technical assistance for water systems to comply with the federal and state Safe Drinking Water Act rules
Provide assistance for training and rule implementation to ensure these systems address existing violations and infrastructure issues
Qualification

Ability to work within a team and independently
Possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey if the operation of a vehicle is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
Authorized to work in the United States per the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations
Preferred
Individuals enrolled at an accredited university/college studying one of the Physical Sciences, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or in Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, or Physical Geography
