Responsibilities
Assist Manager in the day-to-day implementation of department policies and procedures
Complete routine and special assignments or projects as assigned
Assist internal customers with transportation-related needs and inquiries
Serve as department liaison, and escalating non-routine issues to the Manager as appropriate
Collect information and prepare reports on department performance for Manager review
Maintain accurate and complete departmental records, files, and filing systems in compliance with established policies and procedures
Perform administrative duties to include: outlook e-mail correspondence, data entry, requisition submittals to purchase goods through Center procurement
Answer department phone and provide information within the department guidelines
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High school graduation or GED
Minimum of one year experience in program specialty or a related field
Proficiency in administrative support functions, including telephone reception, organization, and record-keeping
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Previous experience in a customer service-related job
