Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance existing Python scripts hosted in AWS (e.g., Lambda, EC2, or ECS)
Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of current automation processes
Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring best practices
Build and maintain integrations between business platforms (CRM, ERP, project management systems) using APIs, SDKs, and modern integration frameworks
Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for data exchange between systems
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that integrations align with business workflows
Incorporate business rules and conditional workflows into automated processes
Work with business teams to define requirements and translate them into code
Ensure that developed solutions improve data accuracy, efficiency, and visibility
Work closely with IT, analytics, and business operations teams to identify opportunities for automation and system improvements
Follow software development best practices, including version control, documentation, and code reviews
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend ways to improve tools and processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
1–3+ years of professional software development experience (internships or co-op considered for entry-level)
Proficiency in Python and experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON-based data exchange
Understanding of software development best practices (Git, testing, CI/CD concepts)
Preferred
Experience with modern frameworks or tools for integration (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django, AWS Step Functions, Apache Airflow)
Knowledge of ETL tools or middleware platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi, Make.com, Zapier)
Familiarity with front-end frameworks or low-code platforms for rapid interface development
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL)
Understanding of business workflows in construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries
