Vice President, Information Technology / Chief Information Officer (CIO) - fully remote
The International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®) has been a leader in shaping the practice of business analysis for over 20 years. The Vice President, Information Technology/CIO will provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all IT functions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and overseeing the delivery of IT services.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and strategic direction for IIBA’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the secure, efficient, and scalable delivery of IT services
Collaborate closely with executive leaders and business stakeholders to design, implement, and govern technology initiatives supporting operational excellence and strategic growth
Oversee IT governance, operations, resource allocation, licensing and vendor management, compliance, and IT security. Serve as IIBA’s Chief Information Security Officer, accountable internally, externally, and to the Board
Lead and develop a high-performing, service-oriented IT function, operating with a player-coach mindset and fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and modern delivery practices
Own and evolve IIBA’s technology platforms and architecture (including Salesforce, Microsoft and digital experience platforms), with a strong focus on integration, scalability, and long-term sustainability
Establish and embed modern delivery and DevOps practices across platforms, including environments, testing, release cadence, governance and workflow management, enabling faster, lower-risk delivery from idea through to production
Partner closely with business and product leaders to translate strategic priorities and customer needs into practical, high-impact technology solutions that measurably support IIBA’s strategic and annual goals
Enable data-driven decision-making by strengthening analytics, reporting and insight capabilities for the Senior Leadership Team and business leaders
Ensure the reliability, security and performance of IIBA’s technology environment, minimizing operational friction and enabling staff, members, partners and chapters to work effectively
Act as a change leader, helping the organization adopt more agile, iterative and evidence-based ways of working across technology and business teams
Oversee technology investment, budgets, resourcing and vendor partnerships to maximize value, reduce risk, and support sustainable growth
Qualification
Required
Senior Manager/Supervisor experience
Experienced technology leader with a strong background in modern applications, infrastructure, and SaaS platforms
Proactive communicator and skilled people manager with the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
Demonstrated success working in dynamic, global, and virtual environments
Expertise in IT governance, security, and process architecture
