Strategic Development Intern
Performance Contracting Group is a national employee-owned specialty contractor that focuses on quality services in the construction markets. They are seeking talented students for their 2026 Summer Internship Program, where the intern will assist with learning and leadership development programs, collaborate with various teams, and support logistical requirements in the Strategic Development Department.

Responsibilities
Assists Talent Design Team in the design of learning and leadership development programs, determining objectives, outcomes, learning interactions, and evaluation criteria
Partners with Talent Capability to learn how to integrate competency models into success profiles, career mapping, performance criteria, and competency-based interview guides
Participate in data collection while building and validating success profiles and scales of contribution
Contribute the Talent Delivery team, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SME), primary facilitators, and logistics staff for the delivery of leadership, competency, and functional training programs
Facilitate programs in a defined learning environment to meet course objectives
Support PCG’s Talent Review and Calibration process collating data and engaging stakeholders
Align with the SD Operations team to support the logistical requirements and events hosted in the Center for Learning and Development
Collaborate with stakeholders across Strategic Development and Marketing
Qualification
Required
Must be in pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Adult Education, Instructional Design or similar during the summer of 2026
Must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for ten weeks during the summer of 2026
Ability to multi-task and pivot to new projects, as needed
Willing to take initiative within a team environment
Maintain accountability for completion of independent work
Familiar with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and/or Teams
Displays excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and operate with a sense of professionalism
