Responsibilities

Provides high-level administrative and operational support for the Chief Medical Officer
Manages office functions and coordinates daily Administrative Suite operations, in addition to providing secondary support for UHS meeting and event coordination
Provides administrative support for the Director of Nursing Services and the Clinical Staff Educator, Infection Prevention, and Safety Coordinator
Serves as Medical Withdrawals Coordinator
Supervises Administrative Suite student assistants
Demonstrates professionalism and commitment to quality care by adhering to customer service standards, respecting patient rights and confidentiality, following policies and procedures, and actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance pattern
Participates in other activities as appropriate and as assigned

Qualification

Administrative support experienceHealthcare environment experienceMicrosoft Office proficiencyData analysisCustomer service orientationPublic relations skillsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's/Master's degree and three years of administrative support experience, or high school graduation/GED/Associate Degree and seven years of administrative support experience
A combination of one year of experience as a clerical supervisor or performing complex administrative functions
Experience in researching, gathering, and analyzing data
Work experience and administrative support in a healthcare environment
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills coupled with a professional demeanor
Demonstrated regular and punctual attendance pattern, customer service-oriented behavior and excellent public relations skills
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate

Preferred

More than the required years of experience
Comfortable with facilitating virtual and hybrid meetings including moving between applications in a live setting
Experience taking committee meeting minutes
