Responsibilities
Lead infrastructure architecture design and long-term planning initiatives
Provide expert consultation on scalable, resilient computing environments
Design and guide hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure solutions
Serve as a senior technical advisor to CDC leadership, infrastructure teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders
Support evaluation, selection, and integration of new technologies
Lead capacity planning, performance optimization, and infrastructure modernization efforts
Mentor technical staff and establish best practices across infrastructure operations
Support governance, reporting, and enterprise planning activities related to IT infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or high-performance computing environments
Deep expertise in Linux, virtualization, storage architectures, and cloud platforms
Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA three (3) days per week (hybrid schedule)
Proven experience designing large-scale, mission-critical IT environments
Strong leadership and technical communication skills
