They are seeking a Senior Property Facultative Underwriter to leverage extensive knowledge of the property facultative marketplace and existing relationships to achieve new business production goals.

Responsibilities
Market, build and manage strong relationships with property underwriters from various insurance companies throughout the country
Contribute to our marketing initiatives and provide consistent communication of our facultative property product and appetite to our cede’s underwriters
Travel to meet with underwriters and engage in industry events to maintain existing relationships while fostering new productive relationships
Build and manage a profitable property facultative portfolio of business
Qualification
Required
Education to Bachelor's degree level or significant years of insurance related experience and / or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 3+ years of property facultative underwriting experience
Established relationships and excellent working rapport with various insurance property underwriters
Possess a proven track record of driving profitable growth in the property facultative marketplace
Ability to build, maintain and expand relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Strong written and oral communication skills
Possesses a 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to roll up sleeves in a start-up environment
Advanced MS Excel skills
Ability to travel
