Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy for The Warner Brothers Company and HBO Max in Latin America, supporting business objectives and brand growth
Serve as the chief spokesperson and media contact for the region
Coordinate with global and regional leadership to ensure messaging consistency and cultural relevancy
Provide strategic communications support to senior executives, including media training, and public appearances
Prepare executive leadership for interviews, events, and press engagements
Craft internal and external messaging on behalf of regional executives
Oversee all publicity and promotional campaigns for HBO Max’s original series, sports programming, and additional streaming content
Collaborate with Media Relations, Talent Relations, Streaming Communications and Marketing teams to design and implement innovative campaigns that drive subscriber growth and engagement
Manage relationships with talent, showrunners, and creative partners to maximize positive media coverage and audience awareness through press junkets, regional events and programming premieres
Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers across Latin America
Monitor media coverage and marketplace trends to proactively address issues and leverage opportunities
Develop crisis communication plans and serve as point of contact during sensitive or high-profile situations
Integrate sports communication into a unified framework, developing clear processes for elevating sports local earned media and delivering on a consistent level
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing communications team across multiple countries and cultures
Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and professional growth
Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communications strategies and campaigns
Prepare regular reports and insights for senior management and global stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years' experience in communications, publicity, or public relations, preferably within the entertainment, media, or streaming sectors
Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese is a strong plus
Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR campaigns for original content and/or sports programming
Strong leadership and team management skills across multi-country environments
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
Experience working with high-profile talent and executives
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural setting
