Responsibilities
The intern will work closely with functional leaders and managers to support improved growth and profitability using strong analytical and business partnering skills
Participate in the month end close process, analyzing inventory, sales, cost of sales by value stream
Provide inventory and transactional analysis, including scrap, production variance, absorption, and inventory valuation variance
Provide support to accounting leadership for reports and analysis in support of Division reviews
Identify cost saving and lean opportunities to improve operations
Focus on an intern project throughout the duration of the internship. The project will be based on needs of the business at the time and involve aspects of accounting, along with interactions between other areas of the business
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field at an accredited 4- year college or university in the United States
Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team
