Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and development of scalable enterprise solutions across multi-cloud environments, with emphasis on AWS-native engineering
Translate complex business needs into sound architectural designs using Business Context Diagrams, state/sequence/activity/ER/DFD models, and OOP/OOD principles
Provide technical leadership across design, coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring adherence to modern development methodologies (Agile, DevSecOps, SRE, Lean, SAFe, XP)
Define and implement cloud architectures using FaaS, PaaS, and microservices patterns
Guide teams on data design and integration using SQL/NoSQL databases and AI/ML-driven data processing pipelines
Collaborate with client stakeholders to align technical decisions with business objectives
Mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
15+ years of experience in software engineering with 8+ years architecting modern, enterprise-level systems
Strong command of technologies such as Angular, C#, .NET Core, SQL/NoSQL, and hands-on use of unit testing frameworks
8+ years of experience with cloud-native architectures (FaaS, PaaS, microservices) on major hyper-scalers, primarily AWS
Demonstrated expertise (5+ years) with Amazon services including API Gateway, MSK, SNS/SQS, Lambda, Batch, App Mesh, Istio, Step Functions, Glue, Data Pipeline, Lake Formation, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, EFS, S3, and Athena
Solid foundation in software design patterns, algorithms, data structures, instrumentation, and system scalability
Proficiency in engineering and DevOps tools such as GitHub, ADO, SonarQube, and automation toolchains
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse, distributed teams in dynamic environments
A passion for learning, problem-solving, and driving innovation with empathy and care
The candidate must be located in Central or Eastern time zone and must be GC or US citizen
Preferred
MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
Exposure to AI/ML or Generative AI (3+ years)
Experience with Tax and immigration-related business domains
