Responsibilities
Provide Site Construction Lead efforts and ground terminal site design and build out efforts
Track the build out milestones for the mission system sites as documented within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
Define and draft subcontractor requirements for the construction phases of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP)
Assist customer team in detailing the local Host Tenant Support Agreements (HTSA) at local installations for the critical post build mission system bed-down phase
Develop and model requirements, create system design models and documentation, utilize and maintain existing analytical models, and develop new models
Serve as the performing contractor’s inspector
Work with the local Civil Engineering Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to resolve any issues identified by these personnel and inspectors
Analyze customer/stakeholder requirements, decomposing requirements, deriving requirements, and allocating requirements to system and subsystem elements
Function as the Kratos Quality Assurance Evaluator (QAE) for all site build activities
Support the development of training material
Work in adherence to structured and defined development processes
Qualification
Required
8+ years of engineering experience
BS in SE, CS, EE, ME, or other engineering equivalent
Familiarity with modern engineering capabilities to include costing estimates, BOM generation, Civil Engineering
Working knowledge of space systems, including satellite ground systems
Experience with military space operations
Sense of ownership, urgency, and drive to accomplish results
Current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI
Excellent communications and interpersonal relationship skills are required
Ability to serve as the performing contractor's inspector
Work with the local Civil Engineering Subject Matter Experts (SME's) to resolve any issues identified by these personnel and inspectors

Preferred
Demonstrated knowledge with Civil engineering
Experience working within the Defense and/or Aerospace industry
Experience in ground systems, system engineering, or software is a plus
Experience developing system level models, requirements, and architecture in conjunction with discipline engineering teams
Sharp analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment
Familiarity with aerospace design and verification processes to include requirements development, validation and verification for conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design
