The intern will support in-house attorneys and compliance professionals with legal research and assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities
Provide legal research support to in-house attorneys and compliance professionals, including but not limited to insurance, lending, and marketing regulation, privacy, and corporate regulatory law
Assist in communicating legal and compliance requirements and, in some cases, partnering directly with business teams to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory obligations
Qualification
Required
Working towards a law degree (JD)
Strong legal research, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Skills Demonstrated: interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent communications skills
Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn
Preferred
Must be currently enrolled in law school (preferably 2L), working towards a law degree
2L law student with an interest in administrative law and/or financial services regulation
Coursework or experience related to Administrative Procedure, regulatory agencies, and/or the financial services industry is a strong plus, although not required
Strong computer (MS Office—Word, Excel, Outlook), analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn
Honesty, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality are required
Ability to think, act, and prioritize in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
