The internship provides hands-on experience with the HR Department, allowing interns to engage in various projects and initiatives while developing their professional skills.

Responsibilities
Attend weekly workshops hosted by the Recruiting, Training, & Development Team to learn about and evolve your personal Leadership Style
Engage with Hogsalt Interns from different departments to collaborate on a Group Project which you will present to the Hogsalt Executive Team
Closely collaborate with the fellow Hogsalt HR professionals in an effort to continuously improve the department
Partner with the Hogsalt Human Resources Team in the recommendation of HR procedural change
Provide pivotal support to the HR Team by aligning yourself with the company’s HR strategies and overall business needs and goals
Engage in weekly team meetings by inputting realistic and pertinent ideas and strategies
Learn from mentors at peer and leadership levels
Collaborate closely with the Recruiting, Training & Development (RT&D) Team on HR-related goals and projects
Connect with the HR and RT&D Directors every week to discuss project management
Research upcoming HR processes and changes and then present your research to the HR Team
Assist the HR Team with internal audits as needed
Qualification
Required
Has a high drive to succeed
Communicates efficiently and clearly in both verbal and written mediums
Is highly accountable and has attention to detail as an active team member of the HR Team
Represents the HR team in a friendly, relatable, and caring manner
Effectively multitasks in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
Has strong time and project management skills as well as organizational skills
Understands the basics of employment laws and regulations
Has basic Excel and Data Analysis Skills
Is a student studying Human Resources, Business Management, or Organizational Psychology
Exhibits professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with the HR Team
