The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting election-related systems, and assisting with technology rollouts.

Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and application issues
Supporting users with systems related to elections, vital records, recording, and finance
Assisting with system upgrades, testing, and new technology rollouts
Training staff and helping them use technology more effectively
Coordinating with County IT, vendors, and other departments as needed
Qualification
Required
An Associate degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology or a closely related field AND one year of experience equivalent to Information Technology Technician
Certificate in Information Technology (CIT) or equivalent AND two years of experience equivalent to Information Technology Technician
A valid CALIFORNIA driver license will be required at the time of appointment and must be maintained throughout employment
