Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support a team of 4–6 Team Leaders and their direct reports
Drive employee engagement and foster a positive, high-performance culture
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training for new team members
Provide ongoing feedback and support to develop leadership and technical skills
Monitor claim handling for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with state regulations
Review and audit claims using a holistic approach
Resolve escalated coverage and liability issues that cannot be handled by Team Leaders
Provide reporting and insights to senior management
Lead or assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance claims operations and customer experience

Required

An active Texas or Florida Adjuster License will be required to comply with state and GAINSCO requirements
Minimum 2–3 years as a Claims Supervisor or Team Leader with direct people management responsibilities in Auto Liability claims is required
Must have direct experience managing Liability coverage issues within the Auto Claims department
Insurance background required
Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
Ability to monitor and assess performance
Efficient time management for self and others
Objective judgment and critical decision-making abilities
Logical and reasoning skills to identify approaches and solutions to problems
A willingness to work occasional weekends or extended hours as required
Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization

Preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience as a second-line leader or managing supervisors/team leaders is preferred
Non-standard auto insurance experience is a plus
Knowledge of Image Right and Claims Manager systems
