Paws Up Montana is America's premier luxury ranch resort, and they are seeking a guest-service-oriented Helpdesk Specialist. The role involves providing technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and software, while also managing the ticketing system and ensuring minimal operational downtime.

Responsibilities

Serve as the on-site first point of contact for technical queries via the ticketing system, Teams, remote management software, phone, or in person
Monitor, streamline, log, track, and resolve all support tickets in the IT ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation of issues and resolutions
Diagnose, research, and troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity (LAN/WAN), and other peripherals
Monitor tickets handled by our Managed Service Provider and escalate complex, unresolved issues to Tier 2 or Tier 3 support teams
Perform basic account management tasks, such as password resets, user onboarding/offboarding, computer provisioning, and permissions management in AD and Azure
Manage, set-up, troubleshoot, and track audio-visual and video conferencing equipment in corporate or event environments to ensure seamless functionality. Expected to provide morning, evening and weekend support throughout events per AV requests
Maintain and create internal documentation, knowledge base articles, and FAQs that are heavily relied upon by our MSP and operational departments
Required seasonal weekend coverage
Perform other Information Technology tasks assigned by department management

Required

Pursuit of a degree in Information Technology/related field or relevant experience
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Current driver's license with two years driving experience

Preferred

Preferred experience troubleshooting and administering Active Directory, Azure, TCP/IP networks, and common PC applications/operating systems (Microsoft 365 or similar)
Knowledge of world class hospitality and service management preferred
