Responsibilities
Working on a variety of public finance transactions in all 50 states
Analyzing laws and regulations affecting such transactions
Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a wide array of documents
Providing advice to underwriting and credit teams
Managing legal aspects from development of preliminary bids to closing
Assisting with post-closing matters, including the review, negotiation and documentation of consents and waivers
Qualification
Required
At least 6 years of experience as a public finance attorney
Experience working on a variety of public finance transactions in all 50 states
Ability to analyze laws and regulations affecting public finance transactions
Experience in drafting, negotiating and reviewing a wide array of documents
Ability to provide advice to underwriting and credit teams
Experience managing legal aspects from development of preliminary bids to closing
Experience assisting with post-closing matters, including the review, negotiation and documentation of consents and waivers
Preferred
Exposure to complex transactions, including health care, private higher education, housing and non-profit corporation financings
Experience with distressed credit and restructuring matters
