Healthcare Administration Intern

Covenant Living Communities and Services is dedicated to providing supportive environments for residents and staff. They are seeking a Healthcare Administration Intern to assist with various administrative tasks, conduct research, and support project management within the healthcare administration team.

Responsibilities

Assist with data entry and analysis for various administrative reports. This will provide insights into the results of various operations
Conduct research and prepare presentations on industry trends and regulations
Support with project management duties, including, but not limited to: leading project meetings by scheduling meetings, gathering and organizing project information to provide timely updates, and maintaining records
Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. This will include working with HR and leadership to onboard new employees
Develop and improve departmental processes and procedures
Once a month shadow the HCA at the facility on off-hours to inspect the facility and meet with the night shift. Day hours will be adjusted when this duty is performed

Required

Current bachelor's degree enrollment in a related field
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. This includes the ability to communicate effectively in English, verbal and written, with residents and staff
Proficient in MS Office suite of products and data analysis tools
Ability to both work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated interest in administrative field and/or healthcare
Frequent mobility to get around all areas of the community, and includes bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
Ability to lift, push, pull, move supplies, etc., not normally exceeding 40 lbs
May be exposed to unpleasant conditions and is at risk of exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious material

Preferred

Current bachelor's degree enrollment business administration or healthcare management
