Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries during monthly close
Analyze cost center line item detail for accuracy and reasonableness
Research department expense variances
Prepare and review monthly Balance Sheet account analysis and reconciliation
Maintenance of fixed asset inventory database
Assist with year-end close, and participate in the YE internal inventory audit
Provide accounting and reporting support to other functional departments
Provide additional support to the Accounting/Finance team as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2-5 years of related Accounting experience
Proficient with networked PC based computer systems including MS Office, Excel spreadsheets, E-Mail, Oracle and other ERP systems
A self-starter with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to handle multiple priorities and short deadlines
Ability to excel in cross-organizational, cross cultural, global team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to maintain professionalism at all times, handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
Full time onsite
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting
Some light lifting of boxed files may be required
