Responsibilities
Design and evolve the core platform architecture including execution loops, integrations, and quality gates
Make authoritative decisions on novel technical challenges where agents lack judgment
Own security architecture, threat modeling, and security sign-off for all platform changes
Approve production deployments after agent preparation, testing, and validation
Shepherd the Builder agent pool: review agent output, improve prompts, graduate autonomy levels
Define and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and technical governance
Design human-in-the-loop routing systems and autonomy graduation criteria
Architect observability, alerting, and self-repair capabilities
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and new AI capabilities
Document architectural decisions and maintain technical knowledge base
Qualification
Required
8+ years of software architecture experience with distributed systems expertise
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud-native patterns
Experience designing secure, multi-tenant platforms with enterprise compliance requirements
Strong background in CI/CD, GitOps, and deployment automation
Demonstrated hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based applications and AI agents in production environments, with evidence of independent exploration and experimentation both within and outside professional work
Ability to make high-stakes technical decisions with incomplete information
Experience mentoring engineers and elevating team technical capabilities
Thrives in a self-driven, entrepreneurial environment with excitement about achieving difficult milestones quickly and iteratively
Excellent documentation and technical communication skills
Preferred
Experience with TypeScript-based infrastructure tools
Background in consulting delivery or professional services
Familiarity with agent-based systems or autonomous software
SOC2, FedRAMP, or similar compliance experience
