Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of IT systems, infrastructure, and security protocols across the organization
Administer and optimize SQL databases, including query development, reporting, and performance tuning to support operational and business intelligence needs
Manage Microsoft operating systems and hybrid/cloud environments; Azure Cloud experience strongly preferred
Oversee and maintain network infrastructure, IP phone systems, and integrated production-floor technology
Collaborate closely with operations and manufacturing teams to implement solutions that improve efficiency, automation, and system uptime
Provide on-call IT support, ensuring coverage for two weekday shifts, Saturdays, and occasional Sundays
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues directly, including hands-on support for barcode printers and other production equipment (requires lifting up to 35 lbs)
Ensure robust backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes are in place and regularly tested
Manage, mentor, and support IT staff to ensure service coverage and timely resolution of user issues
Maintain vendor relationships, monitor performance against KPIs, and conduct contract reviews to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality
Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to manufacturing operations, evaluating and implementing improvements where appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong SQL skills required
Proven experience with Microsoft operating systems; Azure Cloud experience is a plus
Track record of successfully performing hands-on IT work in addition to leading a team
Experience supporting enterprise applications and integrated systems in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to work effectively under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and respond quickly to unexpected challenges
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
Azure Cloud experience strongly preferred
Bilingual skills are a plus
