Provider Support Coordinator (PPMII)

Responsibilities
Embed equity, centering racial justice and disability justice throughout contracting and monitoring processes
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned contracts in the division and support other division contracts
Build strengths-based, collaborative relationships with contracted community partners focused on continuous quality improvement
Participate in related program activities to support knowledge and relationships with assigned contracted providers
Conduct all contract procurement, management, and monitoring in alignment with department and division policies and procedures, as well as the County’s Equity and Social Justice Strategic Plan and Best Starts for Kids values
Partner and collaborate with internal teams, including but not limited to DCHS’ centralized Contracts & Procurement Unit, the Agiloft Team, Performance Measurement and Evaluation, DDECS Fiscal, and Division Team members in all procurement, contract development, and contract monitoring processes
Lead coordination efforts to drive procurement, contracting, and amendment processes. Coordinate procurements in collaboration with Division Team members and DCHS's centralized Contracts & Procurement Unit
Plan, schedule, and conduct contract monitoring visits and complete reports with contracted providers in alignment with department and division policies and procedures, and in collaboration with Division team members
Provide and/or arrange for follow-up training and technical assistance to monitoring activities to assure compliance with federal, state, and county requirements
Identify DDECS provider support needs and coordinate with Technical Assistance and Capacity Building programs
Manage deliverables from contracted providers and report on deliverables to revenue funders
Support completing revenue contracts and deliverables
Support meeting DCHS continuous quality improvement deliverables
Serve as a subject matter expert for the Division on contracting, procurement, and monitoring processes
Provide technical assistance to DDECS teams on internal systems related to procurements, contracting, and contract monitoring
Document policies and procedures and engage in process improvement for increased equity, clarity, and efficiency
Utilize County-approved technology and software to complete tasks
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of equity and social justice principles and practices
At least two years of professional experience and/or an equivalent combination of professional and lived experience working with the developmental disabilities and/or early childhood service systems
At least four years of relevant project coordination experience in social services, including one year of contract management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated knowledge of compliance and continuous quality improvement strategies in a human service setting
Ability to work with creativity and flexibility, both independently and as a team member; to work under deadlines and on a number of tasks simultaneously, and to organize and prioritize quickly in response to changing needs
Skills and abilities working collaboratively with all community members, including families, culturally specific and community-based groups, service providers, and co-workers
Ability to identify intersecting issues, challenges, and opportunities for collaboration across internal and external partners, including strategies to promote equity
Experience providing engaging trainings and/or technical assistance with diverse groups using adult learning approaches
Skills in communicating complex information to diverse audiences for understanding and decision-making
Experience coordinating complex, long-term, multi-partnered projects, including skills in tracking project steps and effective communication
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
Valid Washington State Driver's License or ability to travel throughout the County in a timely manner
Preferred
Two years of professional experience in quality assurance/contract monitoring at the provider, state, or local government level
Experience with government procurement processes and requirements
Experience with equity-focused contracting and provider support efforts
Experience effectively supporting home cultures and languages of individuals and communities, as well as bicultural and/or bilingual skills are preferred
Experience using Agiloft, King County's contract management system, preferred
