Responsibilities
Identify and qualify suppliers for electronic components, PCBs, connectors, and assemblies
Request and analyze quotes, negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to optimize cost and availability
Create and process purchase orders in ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications
Track order status and expedite deliveries to meet production deadlines
Maintain strong relationships with component distributors and OEMs
Resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing promptly
Monitor market trends for electronic components and implement cost-saving strategies
Ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, and other regulatory requirements
Collaborate with production planners and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages
Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare reports on spend, supplier performance, and lead time trends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Electronics Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–4 years in purchasing or procurement, preferably in electronics manufacturing or EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
