Clinical Research Coordinator (Temporary)
The University of Washington's Department of Dermatology is offering a temporary full-time Clinical Research Coordinator position. The role involves conducting clinical research focused on cutaneous oncology and coordinating clinical activities for complex patients.

Attending clinics, enrolling patients in research studies (20%)
Project development and oversight, including regular research meetings with PIs (25%)
Data acquisition, synthesis and analysis (25%)
Disseminating research: writing and presenting (ex: research works in progress) (20%)
Database maintenance (5%)
Generation of standard operating policies for dermatology research (5%)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Biology or a related field
One year's previous work as a Research Coordinator, preferably in the medical/health fields
Ability to integrate information from multiple sources to ensure that all research activities meet the requirements of the University, the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health and study sponsor (if applicable)
Ability to work independently on multiple research projects in parallel
Ability to help develop research policies and procedures
Ability to interact with health care providers and patients in a manner that well-represents the University of Washington and its associated institutions
Completion of training for clinical research involving human subjects within 90 days of hire if not already completed
Preferred
Current MD or DO student
