Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all nursing care to ensure safe, quality resident care
Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate nursing staff
Work closely with doctors and other healthcare team members
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Prepare for surveys, inspections, and audits
Maintain policies, procedures, infection control, and safety programs
Monitor care quality and lead improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Active Michigan RN License
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
BLS Certification
Previous experience as Director or Assistant Director of Nursing
3–5 years of nursing experience
Preferred
Infection Preventionist Certification (or obtain within 6 months)
Experience with Matrix EMR
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
