Precast BIM Manager
AG&E is seeking a Precast BIM Manager, an expert-level position responsible for preparing BIM documents for precast projects in a coordinated team environment. The role involves BIM modeling, coordination with various plans, managing BIM technicians, and developing BIM standards.

Responsibilities
Prepare ALL work in accordance with approved office processes, formats and standards
Work on assigned tasks, under direction of engineering staff, preparing required documents in CAD or BIM
Work on prospects for sales developing presentations using Revit, Tekla or other 3D modeling platforms
Perform tasks accurately and on time with necessary guidance, and proactively seek advice on tasks as needed
Meet task deadlines and adhere to budgeted hours
Check quality and accuracy of work performed by others
Volunteers to work hours need to meet deadlines
Volunteers to work additional hours to assist other (not assigned work) to meet deadlines
When asked, works hours needed to meet deadlines

Participate in external/in-house seminars and training activities/sessions
Mentor and provide guidance to other BIM staff when needed
Work under direction of precast engineers
Manage precast BIM Technicians and precast BIM Specialists
Help develop BIM standards for all projects
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Junior College Associates Degree, Technical College Degree or equivalent work- and industry-related experience; or
Bachelors in Architectural, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering, or Bachelors in Architecture Technology or equivalent work- or industry-related experience
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in producing precast documents
Basic communication skills, including verbal and written
Able to work from verbal and written technical direction with minimal guidance from senior staff
Able to work effectively within a team environment with a group of diverse professionals
Able to organize and manage own time effectively
Able to organize, plan, and perform tasks effectively
Able to read and interpret technical and construction documents
Continuously strives to advance skills with effort inside and outside office
Able to back check own work and strives for quality
Expert understanding of commercially-available office software (Word, Excel, Adobe/Bluebeam, etc.)
Expert understanding of CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla or equivalent
Able to work extended periods (multiple hours) of the day at a computer
