Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering: Working with stakeholders to identify and document business needs and functional requirements
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyzing large datasets, market trends, and financial reports using SQL, Excel, and visualization tools to provide actionable insights Process Improvement:
Evaluating current operational procedures and systems to identify areas for optimization
Solution Evaluation: Assessing the feasibility and impact of proposed solutions, such as new software or workflow changes
Communication & Liaison: Acting as a bridge between technical teams (IT) and business units to ensure project goals are met
Project Support: Assisting in project management, planning, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery
Engages with business leaders to understand how strategies and data-driven changes can improve efficiencies and add value
Work with business requirements and business data to define use cases to improve products, processes, and/or services
Collaborates with Business Relationship Manager (BRM), business stakeholders and IT Product Owners / Managers to develop and document business requirements for product or system changes
Drives business agenda during solution delivery process
Functional Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends in order to develop recommendations to solve business problems

Must consistently and accurately create, collect, organize, and catalog business processes/flow documentation
Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and collaborates with other stakeholders to achieve desired results
May function as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower-level professionals
The majority of time is spent delivering, documenting, and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education
Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level specialists; may manage projects / processes
Contributes to the completion of work group objectives, through building relationships and consensus to reach agreements on assignments while all being thoroughly documented
Make improvements to processes, systems, or products to enhance performance of the job area
Analysis provided is in-depth in nature and often provides recommendations on process improvements
Communicates with senior internal and external customers and vendors both verbally and with proper documentation
Exchange information of facts, statuses, ideas, and issues to achieve objective, and influence decision-making
May provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area
May manage projects, requiring delegation of work and review of others' work product
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of experience
excellent documentation skills & communication skills (written and verbal)
strong experience in business process design & discovery
documented experience in performing the role, not managing BA's
strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
ability to analyze data and trends in order to develop recommendations to solve business problems
familiarity with data analysis tools and data modeling methodologies
must be able to adapt to changes and manage uncertainty
must consistently and accurately create, collect, organize, and catalog business processes/flow documentation
requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
requires 4+ years of experience with a High School Diploma or equivalent or Advanced Degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Preferred
understanding systems, software and technological concepts
practical knowledge of project management and advanced documentation tools
