State Operations Intelligence Support Coordinator
The California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is focused on safeguarding California from various emergencies. They are seeking an Intelligence Support Coordinator to analyze and mitigate emerging threats, applying the intelligence cycle and collaborating with various agencies.

Responsibilities
Applying the intelligence cycle to plan, collect, analyze, and produce tactical finished intelligence work products
Using law enforcement databases, homeland security platforms, and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) research to identify threat actors and trends
Generating threat briefings for policymakers, response agencies, and stakeholders
Collaborating with federal, state, and local partners (e.g., State Department, law enforcement) to share intelligence and best practices
Qualification
Required
Participation in the DMV Pull Program is required
The position(s) require(s) a valid Driver's License (DL)
You must answer the questions addressing your DL on your application
Ensure you provide your DL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions
This position is designated under the Conflict-of-Interest Code and is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment
Failure to comply with the Conflict-of-Interest Code requirements may void the appointment
Preferred
Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience in developing and maintaining complex data and spreadsheets
Ability to research and analyze complex situations and data, identify potential solutions, and provide sound recommendations
Experience conducting open-source research
Familiarity with geopolitical issues and global security
Multi-cultural experience and/or multi-lingual
Familiarity with working in a collaborative, task-force environment with multiple partners, such as regional fusion centers, the California Cybersecurity Integration Center, and the Department of Homeland Security
