Business Development Representative
Kinimatic is a rapidly growing company that addresses complex supply chain challenges for operational leaders. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to engage with senior operations executives and generate qualified discovery meetings through effective outbound strategies.
Responsibilities
Own Apollo as your system of record for prospecting, dialing, sequencing, and follow-up
Execute daily cold calling with confidence and professionalism
Build and optimize multi-touch sequences across phone, email, and LinkedIn
Adapt messaging by industry, role, and operational use case
Read buyer cues in real time and adjust tone and approach
Maintain disciplined follow-up until clear disposition is reached
Research and qualify accounts aligned to defined ICPs
Build prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and Sales Navigator
Qualify outbound and inbound leads for operational fit and buying readiness
Book high-quality discovery meetings for senior commercial leadership
Provide clear account context and notes for strong handoffs
Maintain clean activity logging in Close CRM
Track outbound activity, call volume, and meeting conversion
Use data to refine outreach and messaging
Collaborate with sales and marketing on targeting and campaigns
Document and improve outbound processes and playbooks
Qualification
Required
Prior experience selling logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain solutions
Hands-on Apollo outbound execution
Comfort cold calling senior operators
Baseline operational knowledge including warehouses vs fulfillment centers, SKUs, inventory flow, order lifecycle, pallets, forklifts, basic warehouse operations, truckload vs LTL, drayage, transload, and port-to-DC movement
Maintain clean activity logging in Close CRM
Track outbound activity, call volume, and meeting conversion
Use data to refine outreach and messaging
Collaborate with sales and marketing on targeting and campaigns
Document and improve outbound processes and playbooks
Maturity, operational credibility, and outbound discipline
2–5 years experience selling logistics, fulfillment, or supply chain solutions
Advanced Apollo.io experience (daily sequencing + dialing required)
Proven phone-first outbound performance
Working knowledge of warehousing and transportation concepts
Strong follow-up discipline and organization
Professional executive presence
High accountability and self-direction
Preferred
Experience selling into CPG, retail, DTC, or fulfillment-heavy brands
Bonus if you've worked at logistics tech platforms, 3PLs, fulfillment providers, or transportation companies
