Power Systems Protection Engineer

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement power system protection and control schemes
Create protective relay settings for utilities, substations, and industrial facilities
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field technicians
Conduct testing and commissioning to validate system performance
Champion SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing practices
Qualification
Required
A B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
7+ years of relevant experience
In-depth knowledge of protection principles, relay coordination, and power systems
Experience applying IEEE, IEC, NERC/FERC standards
A track record of solving complex protection challenges
Hands-on experience designing & implementing protection and control systems
