The Space Management Assistant will help maintain the Space Management database and support the current team in implementing a new software system while overseeing student auditors and maintaining accurate records of campus spaces.

Responsibilities
Maintain an accurate database of all rooms on campus
Assign space audits to students and review their findings before making database changes
Oversee continual space audits of each college and building and fill in as needed to complete audits
Supervise student auditors in the day-to-day work
Assist in hiring and training new students
Complete special projects as assigned
Learn new software and create updated training materials for student employees
Qualification
Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Interact with university personnel in a professional manner
Initiative and ability to anticipate and define tasks
Assertiveness and independence – complete tasks with little supervision
Communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals
Work under pressure
Evaluate workflow and set priorities
Effective written and oral communication
Strong interpersonal skills
Organizational skills
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or four years of relevant experience
Familiarity with BYU campus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Asana software
