Responsibilities
Assist in designing visual materials across print and digital platforms, including packaging, marketing campaigns, logos and branding, and social media assets
Support the creation of design concepts that align with established brand identities and target audiences
Participate in select photoshoots and observe production processes to better understand how creative concepts are executed
Help translate ideas and direction into clear, visually engaging designs for presentations, ads, packaging, and web or digital interfaces
Support multiple projects at various stages while learning to manage time, quality, and deadlines
Collaborate with art directors, account managers, strategists, and content creators by taking direction and incorporating feedback into design work
Apply brand guidelines and design standards consistently across assigned projects
Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews, contributing ideas and learning from feedback and critique
Assist with preparing files for print and production under the guidance of senior designers
Learn about printer specifications and regulatory considerations as they relate to packaging and print materials
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
Detail-oriented and can take initiative while managing multiple projects
Ability to take strategic, brand-enhancing ideas and make them come to life with graphic elements
Thrive in a collaborative, team environment
Able to handle the pressure of short- and long-term deadlines
Flexible and open to feedback
Must be a self-starter, quick learner and proactive
A student working towards a bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing or related fields
Experience in Microsoft Office and project management software such as Asana
1-2 years of relevant experience through internships, campus activities, volunteering, class work or transferable work experience
Looking for intern to work at least 20 hours per week
