Packaging Production Coordinator

The Packaging Production Coordinator is responsible for administrative, operational, and creative production support across product timelines, branding standards, and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

Intakes packaging creative projects by reviewing packaging request form submissions and validating all requirements are provided to successfully start the project
Assists in gathering missing assets for packaging creative projects from various business partners, internal and external
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners to realize efficiencies in communication
Traffic packaging creative projects to completion ensuring quality assurance, version control, regulatory compliance and branding consistency for private label brands
Route packaging artwork for approval to subject matter experts including Category, Regulatory and Marketing
Track the progress of packaging projects and report on their status to stakeholders, using project management software to keep track of tasks and deadlines
Tracks digital and physical proofs from vendors and provides timely communication to ensure proof reviews and approvals prior to manufacturing deadlines
Keep stakeholders informed of the project’s progress and address any concerns or questions that arise
Proficiency in project management software to manage tasks and deadlines effectively
Highly detail-oriented and able to multi-task
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate across multiple departments
Continually assess packaging production processes to identify issues, recommend solutions and implement continuous improvements
Supports Sr. Packaging & Brand Designer in production art for packaging and product launch materials
Prepare packaging artwork for print production including ensuring designs meet print specifications, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Applies print production knowledge to perform layout/sizing adjustments, color corrections, and creating final mechanical files for final files release to vendors
Reviews digital and physical proofs for accuracy and consistency against final files sent to production and provides feedback or approval to vendors
Assists in establishing and maintaining shared packaging file archival space (server or otherwise)
Assists in establishing and maintaining packaging brand guidelines for Private Label Brands

Required

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in marketing and advertising
Candidates must possess proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 Office, Digital Asset Management systems (Bynder a plus)
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills
Strong analytical ability with active listening skills
Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail
Willingness and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
Exhibit a high level of professionalism and integrity
Identifies problems, brainstorms and analyzes answers, and implements the best solutions
Ability to identify opportunities within the processes managed. As well as develop and communicate recommendations for improvement to management
