Responsibilities
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Control access at a logistics and distribution location by screening employees, drivers, and visitors; verifying credentials; issuing temporary badges; and maintaining entry and exit logs
Manage truck gate operations by checking appointments and documentation, directing vehicles to designated areas, and monitoring inbound and outbound traffic flow per site procedures
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy violations, and unusual activity through approved channels
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns; working environments and conditions may vary by client site
Qualification
Required
Must be 21+ years of age
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred
